[Jun 2026] Hope you rock this year & every year!
All the best for a wonderful new academic year! Missing you always!
Hey Champ,
It’s June, and your new session at school must be in full swing by now. I hope you’re settling in well and finding things to your liking. I hope you’ve made a few good friends, found a few teachers you enjoy learning from, and are looking forward to whatever this year has in store for you.
After meeting you last month, I realized something.
You’re not a little kid anymore.
From this letter onwards, I don’t think I need to preach anything to you. In fact, I don’t think I ever really needed to. Life has a way of teaching all of us exactly what we need to learn, exactly when we need to learn it. And from what I saw, you’re doing just fine.
Still, 2.5 years ago, I made myself a promise that I would write you one letter every month. So I’ll keep showing up here every month, just to say hello.
No lessons.
No sermons.
No long stories.
Just a quick note from your old man.
And in this letter, I simply want to tell you that I miss you.
I miss talking to you.
I miss laughing with you.
I miss hearing what’s going on in your world.
But more than anything, I hope you’re happy.
May God watch over you, guide you, protect you, and help you become everything you are meant to become.
I’ll be right here, cheering for you from wherever I am.
With love,
Papa
